FAQ

  • Who is the space suitable for?
The co-working space is best suited for remote workers, freelancers and creatives. It is not suitable for anyone offering public-facing services as the space is not publicly accessible.
  • I'm a visual artist, is the space suitable for me?
If your art is not disruptive to other members (noise and sound), we welcome artists to the space! There is a bathroom with a washbasin nearby to clean your tools.
  • Do you offer day passes or part-time memberships?
We do not currently offer day-passes or part-time memberships. Why? Our goal at Stratford Co-Working Space is to foster and facilitate a sense of community. We also want to ensure that there is always space for our members. Day-passes and part-time memberships means we need to have more members than we do space.
  • Is there a minimum monthly commitment?
No, all memberships are month-to-month, but we do require a minimum of 30-days notice for dedicated desk and office users when ending your membership.
  • Can I put my membership on hold?
At the moment only hot-desk users are invited to put their membership on hold as needed.
  • Are members allowed to bring guests?
Sometimes you need to take a meeting with non-members or want to grab lunch with a friend, that's totally cool! Guests are welcome so long as they're not taking up the space of another member or are disruptive to other members. Guests are not permitted to work in the space beyond the meeting time with a member.
  • What's the coffee situation?
We buy our beans from the Buzz Stop. The Wingfield Trilogy is our go-to bean. Coffee is ground fresh daily. Members have the option of brewing a coffee with an AeroPress or french press.
  • What's the snack situation?
Snacks vary by the day. We try to keep some sweets and nuts available and we often have bagels in the freezer for anyone to enjoy.
